    Lightbulb Brightest Flashlights for ~$150

Hey, I am looking to get REALLY bright flashlight, it dosen't have to burn or anything, and honestly that be more of a liability than an advantageous ability. ;) Anyway I can only spend around $150 or less. So many flashlights, I just don't know were to even start. Anyone know what is the brightest I could get within this budget?

    Thanks,

any of theses xenon lights are extremely bright, and very cheap.

they also sell a variety of drop in bulbs so upgrade some lights, or you can just got with a large number of LED's. LED's are very bright and more of a white color then xenon lights, but some are special made to order.

I've got a question : how much lumen is produced by a 80mW 532nm laser ? I mean is 200 lumen bright compared to a 2mW blue LED ? (I just need comparaison)

So 200 lumen is not enough to light a room ?

most light bulbs are like 900 lumen's but i think 200 could light a room, doesn't its depend on the size and color of the room and it's walls

Well for now I just got the 'SuperFire WF-501B', it looked like a great little flashlight and for that price I could hardly go wrong. Only thing is that I didn't order any batteries, lets hope I can buy some were I live. I didn't take the EMS shipping option with DX cause I have a 10mW greenie coming with it, so this could take a while. :D

So 200 lumen is not enough to light a room ?

I think not... I got this at wikipedia: "A standard North American 100 watt incandescent light bulb emits 1500–1700 lumens."

And brightness depends of surface you wish to light. Bigger room, more lumens you need.
