SpectraForum - Updates

As you will notice SpectraForum has had a few upgrades ;)

Here is short overview of what we have done so far:

1. Upgraded vBulletin from 3.7.x to 4.1.3
2. New Design (Still needs a few tweaks here & there & will Install a Drak one also)
3. Enabled Facebook Connect - Register / Connect your Facebook
4. Improved Spam Management
5. Installed vBSEO (Google Food!)

Over the next week we will be adding additional features & functions. If you have any feedback or suggestions, dont hesitate to let us know!


Recruiting Staff:

As the forums have been doormant & because I do not know any of the previous staff here, I have demoted all those with moderator or above access.

However were looking to recruit staff members to help moderate the forums so if you feel you have some time to spare & would not mind helping out, Get In Touch!

Hey styropyro! its been a while dude.. i haven't been keeping up with lasers at all. Everything is way cheaper and more powerful o_O

Yeah it has been a while, so what are you up to now? Now that we have 1W blue lasers, everything has gotten cheap. Do you have any lasers left from when you were really into this hobby?

Well i thought I still had my DL 125mw and my WL Pulsar 125 but I cannot find them and havent been able to for quite some time now. I sold everything else, so I guess all I have remaining is my fog machine :/ I took a break because school has made me really busy and a whole lot of other things like water polo and jobs. Are these 1W blue lasers as good as they sound?? I really want one.....

Yeah these lasers get expensive, although it has now became my job now that I'm a YouTube partner. These 1W-2W blues are sweet, but they are extremely dangerous. They can light paper and match sticks on fire, and the beams on these things are insane! Check out this video I took of one of these 1W blues: YouTube - 1000mW BLUE Laser Burning Stuff! - 445nm @ 1W

If you decide to come back to the hobby and get a 445nm laser, make sure you get goggles! (and use them at all times)
